“We’re still reporting on Second Life, but only as part of our usual tech and media coverage,” a Reuters spokeswoman confirmed to The Register (via Game Politics). After only two years of activity, one of the world’s leading news services decided to end its virtual branch in the world of Second Life, and it may have taken a month-and-a-half for anyone to notice. The last entry on their site is dated September 30.
N-Europe’s Nathan Whincup writes: “Sticking to what appears to be a now solid schedule for DS demos on the Nintendo Channel in Europe, a demo of Dragon Ball: Origins is now up for grabs and just waiting to be downloaded to directly to your DS for your pre-release perusal.
Origins goes back to the roots of the Dragon Ball franchise in a colourful 3D action RPG, and has garnered a lot of positive feedback since its Western debut at Leipzig back in August. The demo acts as a small introduction to battles and controls (as the game is entirely controlled via the touch screen), whilst the full game promises around 30 hours of action-packed content.
The German organization of game classification, USK, has assigned a rating to Persona 4 on PlayStation 2.
Its European publisher will be Square-Enix and that the game will be in English. The release date should be near the beginning of 2009.
