Cradle Announced For PC, Arriving Spring 2012

Flying Cafe recently announced a new game, exclusively for PC. The name of the game is called Cradle and it’s about the player and their mechanical counterpart surviving in a yurt out in the middle of nowhere.

The plot itself revolves around scavenging for parts to repair or complete the mechanical female robot companion in your possession, as well as discovering the secrets of an abandoned theme park not far from the yurt. Much like older PC games during the late 1990s, the game has a first-person adventure feel to it…or so, that’s what the developers are saying.

An official debut trailer was released alongside the announcement but darned if I understand what we’re looking at in the trailer other than some spacious vistas and a few quick glimpses at a young woman.

Based on the description of the game, the screenshots and trailer I still have no idea what you actually do in the game. I didn’t think it was possible to have so much information on a game and still not have enough information on the game.

Given that it will be arriving this upcoming spring we’re bound to get a new gameplay video and a fact sheet or two sometime soon. In the meantime, the game at least has a fairly interesting concept and you can check out the Official Website to check out a few more assets.
