Duke Nukem Forever iPhone, Mac App Store Releases: A Possibility?

The King of Unreleased Games and forever delayed games hit what we can assume one last delay, and will finally release on June 24. I’m talking about Duke Nukem Forever. Yesterday, TouchArcade spotted what the game calls “Apple App Store Additional License Terms“.

“If you check out the Duke Nukem Forever page on Steam, you can scroll all the way down to the view the manual link. Like most modern PC games, there’s basically nothing in there aside from a list of system requirements, and a whole bunch of legal text.”

Gearbox isn’t saying what engine they used to create the game. As TouchArcade suggests, for all we know, they might be using Unreal Engine which can definitely pave the way for an iOS release. They might be referring to a Mac App Store release, but they saw this on the legalease:

The license to the Software is a non-transferable license to use the Software only on an iPhone or iPod touch that you own or control.

Honestly, if Duke Nukem Forever hits iOS through Mac or any of the portable iOS device, it’d be super exciting news. I mean really? The most epicly delayed game on your iOS device, how awesome would that be? After all, Duke Nukem is on the iOS to begin with!
