Mass Effect 2 "Genesis" Comic from PS3 Now Available on Xbox 360

When Mass Effect 2 came out on the PlayStation 3, along with it came a digital comic-backstory: Mass Effect 2: Genesis. Seeing as Mass Effect won’t be coming to the PS3 anytime soon — with Microsoft owning the publishing rights to it — BioWare decided to create a digital comic that allowed users to make the key choices from Mass Effect while explaining what happened in BioWare’s 2007 smash-hit sci-fi RPG. PS3 users would then play Mass Effect 2 with said key choices playing a factor in the game.

Now EA has seen fit to release Genesis onto the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Yep. For 320 Microsoft Points you can go through the 15-minute digital comic and make the key decisions from Mass Effect and have them reflected onto your Mass Effect 2 playthrough. So I guess those who own Mass Effect 2 and not the first one can benefit from this.

Feel like downloading Mass Effect 2: Genesis but are at work or just super-duper lazy to go over to your Xbox 360? No problem, download it straight to your Xbox 360 via this link.
