A new flyer leaked on the internet claims Sony’s upcoming pocket gaming device arriving in October.
Is this leak also applicable in United States?
According to a report posted by IGN, a new flyer they received from a tipster is suggesting that Playstation Vita will arrive in United Kingdom on October 28th and will sport a tag price of £280 for the WiFi and 3G model and the cheaper price of £230 for the WiFi only model. The BlockBuster UK flyer also includes prices for games, so it’s highly possible that the date is legit, knowing that October is a sweet spot if Sony wants to record impressive sales figure.
The Vita manufactured by Sony is obviously one of the much-anticipated devices this year, especially if you’re living inside the cage of Resident Evil and Crash Bandicoot. The Vita is considered as the successor of the Playstation Portable including the slide-out featured PSP Go.
According to the specs sheet of the Playstation Vita, it’s packed with the 5-inch multi-touch screen, two joysticks for your gliding fingers and the much curvier design which is cooler in my opinion. The Playstation Vita is also equipped with two cameras, which is related to possible inclusion of third-party applications, but Sony said it’s for the augmented reality games. The new PlayStation Vita is also expected to deliver smooth gaming courtesy of the Arm Cortex A9 processor with four cores — but I’m not into technical story telling so, just watch the video below from YouTube.
Playstation Vita is considered as Sony’s bet against the slightly failing Nintendo 3DS which was launched in March here in United States. Nintendo has recently issued price drop for the 3DS from the original price of $249.99 to $169.99. The new pricing will be applied on August 12.
