Residential burglary
Burglars entered a home on Mantelli Drive and stole a Nikon D80
camera, lenses and bag valued at $2,700, a Sony Handycam HDR-SR11
digital video camera and bag valued at $1,100, and a Sony
PlayStation 3 with controllers valued at $800, 4:45 p.m.
Friday.
Missing juvenile
Two juveniles left their home on Plymouth Drive without
permission and went to an unknown destination in San Jose for the
weekend, 4:45 p.m. Friday.
Assault
Unidentified people were involved in a fight on Welburn Avenue,
12:30 p.m. Saturday.
A man and a women got into a verbal argument on Wetsand Court,
8:15 p.m. Monday. The man slapped the woman, causing a minor cut to
the underside of her lip.
A boyfriend and girlfriend of 15 years with three children got
in a physical fight on Mantelli Drive, 8 p.m. Sept. 19. The
boyfriend left before police arrived.
Petty theft
A thief or thieves stole a rear license plate from a green 1997
Ford on Monterey Street, 11:43 a.m. Saturday.
A thief or thieves stole checks from a white 1999 Toyota on El
Toro Way, between 1 and 3 a.m. Friday.
A thief or thieves stole a green Diamond bicycle with a torn
seat from Forest Street, Sept. 21.
A thief or thieves stole a rear license plate from a black 2001
Chevrolet Tahoe on Leavesley Road, 3:33 p.m. Sept. 18.
A thief or thieves stole a pair of silver earrings valued at
$48, a head band valued at $8 and a ring valued at $15 from
Leavesley Road, 5:07 p.m. Sept. 20.
Stolen vehicle
A thief or thieves stole a black 2004 Honda motorcycle from La
Paloma Way, between Oct. 1 and Saturday. All keys were accounted
for.
A thief or thieves stole a gray 1991 Honda Accord from
Springdale Court, between 11:45 p.m. Saturday and 12:08 a.m.
Sunday.
A thief or thieves stole a black 1993 Honda Accord from in front
of a Delta Drive residence, between 11 p.m. Sept. 19 and 8 a.m.
Sept. 20. The car contained a purse with a driver’s license and
$200 in recent garage sale purchases.
Recovered stolen vehicle
A stolen blue 1991 Dodge was located by police on Chestnut
Street, 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
A man on Eigleberry Street called police to report that his son
had taken his 2002 Buick, which he thought had been stolen, and
requested it be taken out of the system, 6:53 p.m. Sept. 5.
Auto burglary
A Hispanic or black male adult smashed the rear right window of
a black 2008 Mazda on Eighth and Forest streets, and took a
Magellan Navigator GPS valued at $300, a Walkman valued at $25, a
Kodak digital camera valued at $300, and several Portuguese CDs
valued at $50, 1:17 a.m. Sunday. The thief ran away when
confronted.
Burglars smashed the front passenger window of a gray 2006
Volkswagen Jetta on Glenview Avenue and took a purse containing a
license and $40, between 8 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.
A thief or thieves stole a T9 scientific calculator valued at
$90 from a silver 2008 Ford Focus on Catherine Court, 9:55 a.m.
Sunday.
Fraud
An unidentified Loganberry Drive resident’s ATM card was used at
a Home Depot in Glendora without the owner’s consent, 10:05 a.m.
Saturday.
An unidentified Larkspur Lane resident’s ATM card was used in
several different states without the owner’s consent, July 17.
An unidentified IOOF Avenue resident’s credit cards were used
without the owner’s consent, 5 p.m. Sept. 2.
A female suspect cashed an altered check on Old Gilroy Street,
5:51 p.m. Monday.
Non-injury accident
A non-injury accident occurred on Fifth Street, 6:46 p.m.
Monday.
Vandalism
A vandal or vandals damaged unspecified property on 10th Street,
11:15 p.m. Sunday.
A vandal or vandals damaged unspecified property on Ronan
Avenue, 1:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
Lost property
An unidentified person lost property on Arroyo Circle, 3 p.m.
Saturday.
Injury accident
The driver of a green 1989 Honda Accord lost control of his or
her vehicle and collided with a mailbox, then a tree on Kern
Avenue, 5:31 p.m. Sept. 18. Witnesses said the vehicle rolled over
then landed back on its wheels.
A blue 1988 Honda Civic was involved in an accident on Miller
Avenue, 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
A dark green 2000 Mitsubishi attempted to pass a red 2001
Chevrolet Suburban in the parking lot of Payless Shoes on Camino
Arroyo, 10:32 a.m. Sept. 20. As the Chevrolet was making a right
turn into a parking stall, the Mitsubishi hit the right front panel
of the Chevrolet. The driver of the Chevrolet was six months
pregnant and went to Saint Louse Regional Hospital after suffering
abdominal pain.
Hit and run
A gray 1994 Acura was involved in a hit and run accident on
Leavesley Road, 5:54 p.m. Sept. 20.
Grand theft
An unidentified person had a party at his father’s house on
Rockrose Court, Sept. 20. When he woke up, his father’s acoustic
guitar valued at $1,000, a bottle of Jose Cuervo Gold valued at
$111 and a bottle of Stolichnaya Vodka valued at $57.98 were
missing.
A thief or thieves took eight bottles of medication valued at
$1,600 and three credit cards from Mantelli Drive, 6:30 p.m. Sept.
19.
A thief or thieves stole a purple women’s Diamond mountain bike
valued at $175 from Kelton Drive, between 12:45 and 6:15 a.m. Sept.
19.
