Nintendo’s GameCube-to-Wii Games Confirmed

wii Nintendo UK has released a massive release date list of Wii and DS titles for Europe today. Eurogamer notes that this list features the first GameCube-to-Wii ports, dubbed “New Play Control!” titles, which include Pikmin and Mario Power Tennis. This new label sees classic GameCube titles revamped to utilize new Wii-specific control schemes. See below for the complete, huge list of upcoming European releases.

    Far Cry 2 DLC Coming November

    FCRY2_X360boxart Ubisoft has announced today that it will release a downloadable content pack for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Far Cry 2 by the end of the month. Dubbed The Fortune Pack, the DLC will bring new weapons and vehicles to both the single-player and multiplayer game as well as four new multiplayer maps. Ubisoft notes that the DLC will cost $9.99.
